The school is at the heart of the project. It is the hub of all activities that take place in relation to school and vocational training.
In short, Pascal’s school concept is about a combination of theoretical teaching content with practical action with reference to the children’s living environment. The school garden plays an important role in this.
Ideas from the innovation hub are also incorporated into the classroom. e.g. “How much biogas does the school toilet produce per day?
The planned combination of education and training should e.g. create an income opportunity in the form of paid internships in order to ensure that disadvantaged children remain at school until they graduate.
Examples:
- agricultural training with processing/finishing of products
- Training and work around the cultural centre and accommodation and, in connection with this, also in the craft sector
- Training and work in the field of the “Innovation Hub”
